By plane

Choose whether to land in Florence or Pisa. We always recommend renting a car because our farmhouse is located in the countryside, a 5-minute drive from the centre of Montelupo Fiorentino.

Florence's Amerigo Vespucci Airport is about a 30-minute drive away.

Pisa International Airport is about a 50-minute drive away.

By car

Whether you are coming from the north or the south, take the A1 Florence-Rome motorway and exit at Firenze Scandicci. Follow the signs for the Fi-PI-Li (Florence-Pisa-Livorno) towards Pisa and exit at Ginestra Fiorentina or Montelupo Fiorentino. Once you exit, you will arrive at our farmhouse in about 10 minutes.

By train

The nearest station is Montelupo-Capraia, which is about 6 minutes away by car. On foot, it is about a 40-minute walk along country roads with some uphill sections, so we recommend booking a taxi in advance. The station is small, so you will not find taxis at the exit. The “Santa Maria Novella” station in Florence is about 40 minutes away by car and about 25 minutes from Montelupo-Capraia station.
